Program: Overview of SSEA, its hopes and dreams, accomplishments and plans for 2013, Volunteer recognition, Speaker, and board elections.

Presentation:  George Sharp, Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater Visitor & Convention Bureau Executive Director, “SSEA’s  potential impact on economics of South Puget Sound”.

Known for being a dynamic and engaging speaker George Sharp, Director of Thurston County Visitor Bureau, will be SSEA’s annual meeting speaker. He will discuss his recipe for success highlighting the essentials needed for the South Sound Estuary Association to reach the goal of opening a aquarium and marine estuary interpretive center. The center will serve as a significant education and conservation opportunity in our community. The future “SSSA Center” will contribute to the economy of Olympia and Thurston County. Come learn from George about the future of tourism and economic vitality in Thurston County and how the “SSEA Center” will fit into it all.
